    i remember when this song first came out posting a panic-stricken lj entry about how it felt like a goodbye and i was afraid it meant they were splitting up.

    it still makes me cry.

    lol same. on the one hand i’m really sad that my chicken little spec was sort of right, but otoh, it really feels right that this was one of the last things they put out before the ~hiatus and all of bandom basically fell apart.

    Jesus fuck for me that music video was like, “ugh this is super on the nose it doesn’t work it’s dumb this song is dumb STOPPIT WITH YOUR FACE THERE’S JUST SOMETHING IN MY EYES FUCK YOU SHUT UP CAN’T YOU SEE I AM FEELING ALL OF THE FEELINGS.” And then I made my sister watch it and she was making fun of me because she was in her Cool College Kid phase and then it started raining on her face too.
